Andrea was last seen as Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast at CASA 0101. Jack fell in love with acting, singing and dancing on stage at eight years old. After numerous leading roles in children's musical theater productions, Jack joined The Open Circle Theatre Company cast in Waiting For Godot last spring. Jack is currently developing a web series with director Daniel Wilner. Priscilla, Queen of the Desert marks Jack's debut in professional musical theater.

He's back! 6 yrs ago Jason graced the Celebration Theatre stage in Bash'd: A Gay Rap Opera and he couldn't be more excited to return home for Priscilla Queen of the Desert!  With a BFA in musical theatre from AMDA, Bash'd was his first professional production out of college. He then continued dance training by completing the "Scholarship" program at Edge Performing Arts Center.  He's been working in and around LA since then, and also gained some notoriety for his Drag persona, Salina EsTitties. His ultimate dream in life is to become a millionaire by winning Survivor. He'd like to give a huge shout out to the Celebration Fam Bam, and all the work they do to continue to tell the stories of the LGBT Community.

Katie recently returned to her hometown of LA after singing in a musical revue at Tokyo Disneyland.  She's incredibly excited to be part of this production and is grateful to be welcomed into the Celebration Theatre family.  She is excited to be back in LA because that means she can perform with her musical improv group Roadies, and she gets to spend more time with her ridiculously gorgeous husband Ryan in their new home,  www.katieself.com.



Lyle is pumped to be a part of Priscilla Queen of the Desert! Mario is a Celebration Theatre company member and is thrilled to be making his Celebration debut in Priscilla.  As an undergraduate, he studied at London's Royal Court Theatre.  He received his MFA in Acting from the University of Washington's Professional Actor Training Program.  He has performed in numerous Equity theaters across the country and was honored to have performed in the Broadway production of Rent.



Markesha Chatfield studied gymnastics and dance throughout high school in GA and later earned a BFA in Performing Arts: Musical Theatre from AMDA-LA. Some of her favorite shows she has performed in include Beehive National Tour, Hairspray, Dreamgirls, and Children of Eden. Markesha thanks her friends and family. She feels blessed for every experience and can’t wait to help tell yet another amazing story.





Marqell is thrilled to be performing at Celebration! He recently finished the Musical Theatre program at CSU Fullerton. His most recent credits include: 9 to 5 (Ensemble), AIDA (Ensemble), Ragtime (Coalhouse), The Drowsy Chaperone (Gangster #1) and Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Prince). Nick Brody (13) discovered he loved to act when he realized it gave him magical powers to make people laugh. Nick has spent the past five years focused on children's musical theater. Last spring Nick joined The Open Circle Theatre Company cast in Waiting For Godot. Nick recently played the lead in The Cold, a film written and directed by Dan Wilner. Priscilla Queen of the Desert marks Nick's first professional role in a musical.



Tad is an actor/singer/dancer from Kingsport, TN and alumnus of American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and later inspired to work with my mentor Rachel Rosenthal. Last seen at Celebration in Justin Tanner’s OklahomO!; CABARET (Nat. tour); Perfect Day (Berlin - ARTS Int. Award); The View from Skyland Drive (arcade @ Helms Bakery/Athenaeum, Chicago) Stupid Songs at Hollywood Fringe, at Evidence Room: The Strip, 99-cent-only Calendar Girl Competition, and The Skin of Our Teeth (LAWeekly, Best Revival 2003). Dekontee Tucrkile is so excited to be involved with this show! She was most recently seen in a Coca-cola commercial in Regal Theatres and in Nabucco with Placido Domingo at the Los Angeles Opera! She’s a current conservatory student at Second City in Hollywood. She would like to thank God, her friends, and her family for all of the love and support all these years. Miki is a recent graduate of UCLA where she studied musical theater. Recent credits include Siamese Sex Show at the Lounge Theater and Carousel at UCLA. She would like to thank the entire team for the wonderful opportunity and the exciting experience!

Jessica is a Los Angeles based Theater Maker. She has worked as an actor, director, choreographer and producer all over Los Angeles with many companies and spaces including, Open Fist, Sacred Fools, Evidence Room, John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, Greenway Court, Abundant Sugar, Occidental College, Atwater Village Theatre, Furious Theatre, Mine is Yours Theatre Co., B-Flat Productions, Center Theatre Group, Mutant Collective and Circle X. She has also had the pleasure of working with Anne Bogart and the SITI Co. as an actor at the Getty Villa twice. She has trained in Suzuki & Viewpoints since 2002. In June 2006 she co-founded Bootleg Theater and has been the Producing and Managing Director ever since.  At Bootleg she has produced and worked with hundreds of artists & companies, overseeing production of all the theatrical and dance performances.  Her focus has been on new work development with local artists. Recent directing credits include: Lisa Dring's Death Play, for the Son of Semele Solo Creation Festival and Circle X Theatre (full production). No Homo, at Hollywood Fringe (Winner Best Director, Ensemble Theater, World Premiere and Golden Playwright), New York Fringe and Atwater Village Theatres, Four Chords and a Gun by John Ross Bowie at Bootleg, Nia Orm's' solo sketch show Who Do You Think You Are at the Downtown Independent and most recently I Carry Your Heart by Georgette Kelly at Bootleg.



Karen is thrilled to be working at Celebration Theatre for the first time. Her SM credits include Ashes to Ashes with Theater Planners and Richard II with Chase What Flies.  For 4 seasons she has been an ASM at Theatricum Botanicum and is a graduate of Brunel University, England.



Anne has directed and assistant directed for The Actor's Gang, LA Theater Ensemble, Some Assembly Required, Sacred Fools, and a whole lot of short films, webseries, and sketch shows. She directed the webseries Corporate, which won several awards at the LA Web Fest. Her choreography for Monkey Madness was nominated for an LA Weekly Best Choreography award. This summer, she wrote and directed Measure 4 Measure, an interactive card game about reproductive rights, for the Hollywood Fringe Fest and Indiecade. Her play Dugout, a Little League Macbeth, is in development with Shakespeare Center Los Angeles. Her company, Stories & Makebelieve, produces promo videos for arts organizations. Anne makes films and plays about death, sex, and joy, that make audiences say "I have to go call my mom" and "Hey, you wanna go make out?"




Jennifer works as a music director, accompanist, and teacher throughout Southern California. She is the resident music director for Color and Light Theatre Ensemble. Recent productions include Hit the Wall (LA LGBT Center), A Little Night Music (Colony Theatre), Promises, Promises (Musical Theatre Guild), and The Spidey Project (Theatre Unleashed).


Roman is beyond excited to be a part of the Celebration family and this production of Priscilla. A graduate of AMDA Los Angeles, Roman spent many years as a Principal Dancer and Rehearsal Director of The Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater. He has also had the wonderful opportunity to be a teaching artist for the Disney Musicals in Schools program for The Smith Center in Las Vegas and has recently been seen performing as a guest entertainer on Norwegian Cruise Lines.




Allison is an Ovation nominated freelance designer and holds an MFA in Costume Design and Technology from UMKC. Recent local design work includes: Die, Mommie, Die!, BootyCandy (Celebration Theatre), Shine Darkly, Illyria (Fugitive Kind), Spies Are Forever (Tin Can Bros.), A Singular They, Sons of the Prophet (The Blank), Failure: A Love Story (Coeurage). Pete is a Scenic Designer, Production Designer, and Sculptor based in Los Angeles. His most recent scenic design projects include Farragut North at the Odyssey Theater, Die, Mommie Die! at The Celebration Theatre, and Crimes of the Heart at the International City Theater in Long Beach. He was also recently production designer for “Medicare Mermaids” among his other ventures curating and exhibiting in the contemporary art world. He was nominated for a 2016 Ovation Award for his design of Rio Hondo at the Theater of Note.

Matthew is a young sound entrepreneur who has been honing his craft in live sound engineering throughout Southern California. Some of his most recent productions include: Sierra Madre's 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,Theater of Arts The Devil You Know, The Falcon Theater's Little Drummer Bowie, and Sierra Madre's The Marvelous Wonderettes.


Monazia is an actress from Oahu, HI. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Acting from AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts. She has performed in everything from live theater to films. When she’s not on stage, she enjoys working backstage; truly inspired by all forms of art.



Michael is once again happy to be working at Celebration where he has done prop work since 2005. Besides Celebration his prop work has appeared at Coeurage, East West, Theatre of NOTE, the Blank, the Road Theatre, among others. He has several upcoming shows around town and he anticipates having a website ready to launch (finally) in the coming year. Michael has also worked in other capacities in theatre both onstage and behind the scenes. He also serves as Managing Director of Celebration.



Michael currently is the Executive Director of Celebration Theatre, Celebration Board Treasure as well as past Board President of the Theatrical Producers League-Los Angeles Intimate Theatre. Michael has directed, acted, produced or distributed numerous projects for the stage as well as film and television. He has produced both the multi award winning The Boy From Oz, the award winning The Color Purple,  both of which took home multiple Ovation awards including Best Production of a Musical in an Intimate Theatre, Take Me Out, Altar Boyz, The Daddy Machine, WEHO, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told and Twelve Angry Men. He has appeared onstage in The Mikvah Monologues at the Wadsworth Theatre, Los Angeles, as well as Twelve Angry Men, Three Sisters and Blood Wedding in Los Angeles and The Trial Off-Broadway. Besides the stage, he has acted in, produced and distributed the film Special Needs. Other film and television credits include Dear J and Deep In The Valley many years ago now. He is probably most recognized for having been a passenger seated behind Wendie Malick, Jane Leeves & Valerie Bertinelli in the pilot for “Hot In Cleveland”.



Michael is currently the Co-Artistic Director of Los Angeles’ multiple award-winning Celebration Theatre (CT). Jay is the Producing Director of Celebration Theatre.  He most recently co-lead produced the West Coast premiere of The View UpStairs and, along with Tom Detrinis and Nathan Frizzell, Celebration’s hit summer comedies Tilda Swinton Answers An Ad On Craigslist and So Long Boulder City, which just completed a run Off-Broadway at SubCulture in NYC.  He was also a producer on last spring’s Die, Mommie, Die!  Currently, Jay is the VP of film/tv development at director George Tillman, Jr. and producer Bob Teitel’s production company, State Street Pictures.  The company is currently in post-production on a feature adaptation of the #1 New York Times Young Adult Bestseller, The Hate U Give.

Stephen is on the Board of Directors at Celebration Theatre and is delighted to be lead producing the Los Angeles Intimate Theatre premiere of Priscilla with Jay Marcus. Stephen is a lead producer of Romy and Michele the Musical, based on the 1997 cult hit film, which had its world premiere at The 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle last summer. Stephen wrote, directed, and produced two award-winning short films: A Gifted Amateur and Slant. His next film projects are The Dress, his adaptation of a short story written by David Ebershoff, author of the Academy Award-winning, The Danish Girl, and Windowless, a film Stephen is co-producing with Zurich-based Aaron Films. www.stephensoucy.com



Mark Giberson is an award-winning journalist and public relations executive, now retired. He serves on the board of directors of The Barn Studio of Art, is past president of the Flying Samaritans and is the founder of No Boundaries Art Workshops®. He also is an active supporter of the Bald Head Island Conservancy, the Bayshore Discovery Project, and others. A recovering parent of two former teenagers, he is married and lives in Pasadena. 




Priscilla is David’s 2nd venture into associate producing for Celebration Theatre, after working on the production team for The View Upstairs. His production experience stems from years working as an actor, as well as, behind the scenes on various projects as a wardrobe stylist and production assistant. David is thrilled to be a part of this creative journey working alongside his fellow CT company members and this talented cast & crew! xo



Alan is proud to associate produce at Celebration, after failing out of virtually every other job known to man. Producing both "train wreck" reality tv and indie films alike, much of Alan's portfolio can be seen "late-night, after hours" on dishnetwork. An avid theatre goer, he enjoys staying active, volunteering, and finding time for spontaneous road trips whenever possible. The Oklahoma native is a graduate of OCU’s MBA program, as well as The Los Angeles Film School immersion program, and can best be described as the "Worlds worst cook," a self-ascribed title.



Parnell is very excited to join the team as Associate Producer on Priscilla. He is a long time company member of Celebration and is the Current Company Manager. 




Jami Rudofsky is proud to be the Resident Casting Director for Celebration Theatre. Celebration credits include Dream Boy, Bootycandy, The Color Purple: The Musical, The Women Of Brewster Place, Take Me Out and many more. She also co-cast Hit The Wall for the LGBT Cultural Arts Center. She casted the long-awaited Netflix reboot of Gilmore Girls. Additional film and television credits include: Showtime’s Masters of Sex, the YouTube Red original series Sing It! and Deserted. She’s so honored to be back working with the Celebration Theatre Family!

Brittney S. Wheeler is an LA native who has happily been a CT company member for 5 years and some change. An Ovation award winning and nominated actor (The Color Purple, Celebration Theatre & Failure: A Love Story, Couerage Theatre Company respectively), Brittney is also a classically trained professional vocalist and an avid acrylic painter. Brittney has thoroughly enjoyed the casting process and has developed a love for being behind the table instead of in front of it.
